​​​​​​​Hadestown, the winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will come to Madison's Overture Center in January 2023.

Lana Gordon, who previously starred as Persephone in Hadestown on Broadway (taking over the role from its originator, Amber Gray), will be joining the National Tour of Hadestown as Perseophone for a limited engagement through November 19. 

The 2019 Tony Award winner for best musical, HADESTOWN, makes its tour stop in OKC. Hadestown is a mashup of two Greek mythologies, with original music and lyrics by singer/songwriter Anais Mitchell. When Eurydice follows Hades to his underground kingdom, Orpheus risks it all to find her and bring her back.

The Milwaukee Art Museum has announced that it has appointed Shoshana Resnikoff as its Demmer Curator of 20th and 21st Century Design. With more than a decade of curatorial experience, Resnikoff comes to the Museum after five years as curator for the Wolfsonian-FIU, where she currently works with collections of 19th and 20th century European and American design and decorative arts. Resnikoff will assume the role of Demmer Curator beginning January 9, 2023.

HADESTOWN will make its anticipated South Florida premiere at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County  from December 6–11, 2022.

New production photos have just been released of the Hadestown North American Tour, which has extended through Spring of 2024.

Tony Award nominee Mark Linn-Baker, will join the company of the revival of The Music Man on Broadway as Mayor Shinn, beginning October 25. As previously announced, Tony Award Winner Jefferson Mays will depart the production on October 23, 2022.

On October 7, goth-folk duo Charming Disaster will launch Halloween season by bringing their Musical Tarot Show to Lower East Side speakeasy venue Caveat. Stage magician and storyteller Nelson Lugo will perform an opening act.

The complete cast has been announced for the brand new Non-Equity national touring production of ON YOUR FEET! THE STORY OF EMILIO & GLORIA ESTEFAN. This exciting new production directed and choreographed by Luis Salgado will visit more than 70 cities nationwide.

The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage (the Center) has announced its 2022 grants and fellowships today in support of cultural events and artistic work that will enliven and enrich the Philadelphia region and represent diverse identities, personal experiences, and historical narratives.

SunDub, the Brooklyn-based five piece who expertly mixes classic reggae with elements of soul and blues, is back with a new single, “Jump and Dance,” out now on Easy Star Records. The track features guest vocals by Jamaican superstar Lutan Fyah. The music video for the single, directed, shot, and cut by David Svedosh is available to watch now!

The Music Man will end its Broadway run on January 1, 2023. The revival of Meredith Willson’s musical, starring two-time Tony Award®, Grammy Award®, and Emmy Award®-winning star Hugh Jackman as Professor Harold Hill and two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster as Marian Paroo, will have played 358 regular and 46 preview performances by the time it takes its final bow.

Dallas Theater Center's Clue, the first production of the 2022-2023 season, begins performances at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre. Clue is directed by Daytime Emmy Award-winning Alan Muraoka; who has appeared on Sesame Street, as well as directed, for more than 25 years. Viewers may recognize him as “Alan”, the beloved character who runs Mr. Hooper's store. 

The HADESTOWN North American Tour is coming to St. Louis at the Fabulous Fox Theatre October 11-23, 2022. Produced by Mara Isaacs, Dale Franzen, Hunter Arnold, and Tom Kirdahy, Hadestown is the most honored show of the 2018-2019 Broadway season.
