Hardy Boys is a collaborative album from songwriter/composer Emile Mosseri and jazz polymath Sam Gendel. Primarily written and recorded in a few sittings of improvisational work, the album touches on myriad genres and emotional impulses, building a sonic adventure that is engulfing and unique.
Grammy-nominated producer/artist/composer Louis Cole has shared the title track and final single from his new upcoming album, nothing, out August 9th, a collaboration with the Dutch Metropole Orkest conducted by Jules Buckley.
“These Dreams are Killing Me” – a song that, according to Louis “sits in that perfect phantom zone between sad and happy” – is the third track to be shared from Louis Cole’s forthcoming collaborative album with Metropole Orkest and Jules Buckley, humbly titled nothing. Cole’s voice, his drum set, and Sam Wilkes’s bass all join in at breakneck speed, the high velocity something for Cole and longtime creative partner Genevieve Artadi to flit over. Taken from Cole’s live performances with the Orkest, nothing fuses breath-taking classical orchestration with dance music, pop, and jazz sensibilities. Cole will return to Germany and the Netherlands this fall to perform nothing alongside the Orkest and Buckley. Louis Cole’s album Quality Over Opinion (Brainfeeder) has been nominated for Best Alternative Jazz Album at the upcoming 66th annual GRAMMY Awards ceremony, scheduled to take place on Monday February 5th, 2024. 20 tracks deep, Quality Over Opinion was written, performed and produced on his own.

From her upcoming album, Genevieve Artadi shares a new video, “To Tell How I Adore You,” the latest from Forever Forever. In January, she released the lead single, “Visionary” followed by “I Know” in February. This month, she’ll also perform a release show at the Echo, followed by a string of tour dates with her longtime musical partner Louis Cole.
