Woodstock Film Festival Announces 20th Anniversary Audience & Maverick Award Recipients

The 20th Anniversary Woodstock Film Festival wrapped up on Sunday with the Closing Night film Marriage Story, directed by Noah Baumbach. Audience ballots from more than 100 films were counted late Sunday night to determine the winners of the Audience Awards. Over the past week, thousands of film goers, industry and filmmakers from around the world attended screenings, panels, and special events in Woodstock, Rhinebeck, Rosendale, Kingston and Saugerties.

PBS to Premiere GOD KNOWS WHERE I AM

In May 2008, the body of Linda Bishop was found in an abandoned New Hampshire home along with a journal that documented her journey of starvation and loss of sanity. God Knows Where I Am, premiering Monday, October 15 at 10 p.m. on PBS (check local listings) tells Bishop's story; a well-educated New Hampshire mother diagnosed with severe bipolar disorder with psychosis, who was intermittently incarcerated and homeless.

PBS Picks Up Documentary GOD KNOWS WHERE I AM, Narrated by Lori Singer

Deadline announced today that PBS has picked up the documentary GOD KNOWS WHERE I AM. The feature is narrated by Lori Singer (FAME, LAW AND ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT). The film also marks the directorial debut from Jedd Wider and Todd Wider. The documentary is set to air in 2018. Read the full article here!

On Saturday, October 14, the 18th annual Woodstock Film Festival Maverick Awards Ceremony took place at Backstage Studio Productions in Kingston, NY. More than 500 filmmakers, film industry members, community leaders, and audience members attended the event held in the heart of Kingston's Uptown Historic District.

The show is directed by Jon Meyer with musical director Chris Tenney and choreography by Amanda Woolsey.
