Dear Readers, it has been one crazy year with some amazing theater. You know it's true. We've had dead teens riding a roller coaster, demonic puppets, and an ageless guy with a picture of himself in his attic. And, of course, a hip-hop founding father sweeping through town. Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) has just announced additional casting for the new Broadway production of the musical comedy Kiss Me, Kate. Joining the previously announced Tony Award winner Kelli O'Hara and Tony Award nominee Will Chase are Corbin Bleu as 'Lucentio/Bill Calhoun,' Terence Archie

Belgian producer and established composer Poltrock has premiered 'Titanus', the first single off his upcoming album 'Machines' set for release on November 16 via Poltrock Music as part of the ongoing album trilogy 'Mutes, Moods and Machines'; culminating a five-year-long process of three full length albums released with a pianesque 88-day interval, all highlighting a different approach to the 88 piano keys. The first in the trilogy, 'Mutes' is a collection of short and intimate piano improvisations released on International Piano Day, March 29th 2018, while the second part of the trilogy, 'Moods', released soon after on June 22nd on is a series of atmospheric and cinematographic soundscapes blending natural and prepared pianos with menacing drones and dense sound textures. Now, Poltrock prepares the third and final installment of the trilogy titled 'Machines'; an instrumental electronic album combining heavily prepared and repetitive piano patterns with hypnotic and organic electronica aspects, encompassing on an arduous yet relentless journey. Currently, David Poltrock is touring with Hooverphonic, De Mens and Bent Van Looy and bringing an experimental music with the deep-drone ensemble Razen.

KISS ME, KATE, directed by Chris Causer, is led by Mikaela Sullivan and Cliff Gabor as Lilli VanessiKatherine and Fred GrahamPetruchio, respectively. The cast also features Heidi Hansfield (Lois LaneBianca), Tyler Sonkin (Bill CalhounLucentio), Jenilee Houghton (First Gangster), Jessica James (Second Gangster), Anthony C. Brown (General Harrison Howell), Ken Rubenstein (Harry TrevorBaptista), Korinne Yonan (Hattie), Larry D. Trice II (Paul), Becca Duff (GremioEnsemble), Emma Widlowski (HortensioEnsemble), Adrian Briones (RalphEnsemble), Stephanie Fongheiser (PhilipEnsemble), and Lauren Romano (NathanielEnsemble).

The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati will take audiences "up, up and away" with a SUPER season opener when they present SUPERMAN October 6-15, 2018 at the Taft Theatre.

'Another Op'nin, Another Show' at The Alhambra Theatre and Dining. Kiss Me, Kate portrays the story of a company performing Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare. This company is a complete mess, with different relationships bringing their problems to the stage, or gangsters requiring money from the actors. With so many different story lines mixing throughout the performance, one would worry that the audience could get lost. However, the show is so wonderfully written and portrayed, that the audience was left laughing and awestruck after each number.

MCC THEATER today announced the complete cast and creative team for the first show of the 2018/19 season: the New York Premiere production of Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Betties, written by Jen Silverman, and directed by MCC alum Mike Donahue

The Muny announced today its full cast, design and production teams for the theater's opening centennial season show, Jerome Robbin's Broadway. In its first production ever in the world since its original Broadway and national tour productions, Jerome Robbins' Broadway will run June 11 - 17.
