Premium network EPIX® has announced that its two-part doc series Laurel Canyon will premiere Sunday, May 31st at 10p.m., and conclude the following Sunday, June 7th at 10p.m.  Directed by Alison Ellwood (History of the Eagles), the series features an intimate portrait of the artists who created a music revolution through a wealth of rare and newly unearthed footage and audio recordings.

Touching on genres ranging from rock, country, folk, light opera, big band and mariachi, Elizabeth Ward Land finds her perfect vocal match in this salute to the great Linda Ronstadt. Sundance Institute will gather 25 celebrated and revered expert voices across film, art, culture and science to award feature-length and short films shown at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival with 31 prizes, announced at a ceremony February 1. Short Film Awards will be announced at a separate ceremony on January 28. The Festival takes place January 23 through February 2 in Park City, Salt Lake City and Sundance, Utah.

GET Kicks Off 2020 With Rock 'n' Roll

Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), the professional North Fulton theatre company, kicks off the new year with SHE ROCKS: Tara Vaughan's The Women of Rock. This concert experience will run January 2nd a?" 19th, 2020, Wednesdays through Sundays, at the company's home in the Roswell Cultural Arts Center. Back in 2016, GET brought in the hugely popular Yesterday and Today: The Interactive Beatles Experience, which is the same band that will back up Tara Vaughan for this phenomenal show.
