Following a postponement of programming due to the COVID-19 developments, Feinstein's/54 Below will open its vaults and launch a series of streamed performances to provide theater fans everywhere with artistic content from their favorite artists.

The Actors Fund has teamed with SiriusXM Broadway host Seth Rudetsky and his husband, producer James Wesley, to produce a daily mini-online show, entitled Stars in The House, featuring stars of stage and screen singing and performing live (from home!) on social media to promote support for The Fund's services.

Currently on a West Coast tour, acclaimed Nashville-based singer/songwriter Michaela Anne today announces that she will hit the road with singer, songwriter and musician JD McPherson. Beginning April 23, Anne will bring her “captivating vocals” (Billboard) and “splendid album” (American Songwriter), Desert Dove, to life with performances in Louisville, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Toronto and New York City. North Carolina Theatre has announced casting for its upcoming production of Memphis, playing March 24-29, 2020 at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh. North Carolina Theatre's production will be directed and choreographed by Broadway performer Robert Hartwell, and Eric Woodall is NC Theatre's producing artistic director.

The Kimmel Center Cultural Campus, along with Resident Company support from Philadelphia Chamber Music Society and The Philadelphia Orchestra, celebrates Women's History Month in March 2020 with an array of programming honoring a breadth of female artistry and expression. On Saturday, February 1, I had the pleasure of revisiting THE SOUNDS OF THE SEVENTIES at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre in Bridgeport, CT.  I enjoyed it even more this second time seeing it!  This approximate two hour performance includes nearly fifty different songs, performed by four extremely talented cast members.  Mikayla Petrilla, Saige Bryan, Everton Ricketts, and Kyle Riedinger all have incredible voices, a strong stage presence, tremendous acting skills, tight stage chemistry with each other, and a positive attitude of genuinely enjoying their performance, radiating positive energy all throughout this packed house!   The choreography by Jennifer Kaye helps highlight the excellent dancing and synchronization skills from this first rate cast.  The excited audience reactions including singing and dancing along during certain parts of the show indicate that the rest of the audience shares my extremely positive views of this incredible show!

Alice Wallace has joined forces with Need to Know Records to release a stunning new version of the Linda Ronstadt classic 'Long, Long Time.' The single will be released on both 7” vinyl and digital on February 14, 2020. Alice, who calls Linda Ronstadt her biggest influence, first performed the song to critical acclaim at the one-night-stand of the iconic Palomino Club in Los Angeles in October of 2018.
