Three of pop culture's most iconic stars will share their unique perspectives and insights in an engaging, highly interactive format this summer as part of Give Kids The World Village's popular An Evening With… speaker series. Proceeds will benefit the Village, an 89-acre, whimsical nonprofit resort in Central Florida that provides critically ill children and their families from around the world with magical week-long wish vacations at no cost.

 An Aladdin 30th Anniversary Reunion will headline DIS Con 2022, a one-of-a-kind expo celebrating all facets of the wonderful world of Disney – from Disney, Marvel and Pixar animation to film, television, theme parks, music and memorabilia.

Members of the Film & TV Music community, made up of composers, songwriters, music editors, music supervisors, studio executives and more, are contributing their talents to SOUNDTRACK OF OUR LIVES: A CELEBRATION FOR THE FILM & TV MUSIC COMMUNITY, an online benefit event for MusiCares® COVID-19 Relief Fund.

After behind-the-scenes clips from the original films, and songs (Including 'Speechless' sung by Lillias White), bloopers and more - Grammy winner Regina Belle entered the stage to a thunderous ovation. Joining her and filling in for an under-the-weather Peabo Bryson was Norm Lewis who joined her for a powerful rendition of 'A Whole New World' - watch the video!

Disney recently announced at the D23 Expo that the sequel to WRECK IT RALPH, RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET, will include cameos from nearly every Disney princess, news that almost did indeed break the internet. The panel then decided to test the mettle of audience members by bringing out the voices of enough Disney princesses to flood the stage with starlight.

Filmmakers from Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios convened at D23 Expo 2017 today, revealing new details about their upcoming movie slates and introducing key voice talent

In a new interview with Billboard, award-winning composer and Disney mainstay Alan Menken discusses his upcoming projects for the House of Mouse, including live-action remakes of the classics, THE LITTLE MERMAID and ALADDIN. 

Will Smith is currently in discussions to take on the iconic role of Genie in Disney's upcoming live-action ALADDIN. The role was made famous by late comedian Robin Williams in the studio's 1992 animated film.

Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Josh Gad, Ewan McGregor, Audra McDonald, Stanley Tucci, Ian McKellen, Bill Condon (director) and Alan Menken (composer) arrived at Alice Tully Hall for the New York special screening of Disney's live-action BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Guy Ritchie will be helming a live-action re-imagining of Disney's Aladdin. The project marks the latest in a string of upcoming live-action reboots of Disney classics, including BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, in theaters March 17th, MARY POPPINS RETURNS, out Christmas Day, 2018, MULAN and THE LION KING.
