'Hear Me Out' Monologue Competition Announces Its Finalists

Each of the finalists were given the prompt  'Borders' for their submission. Each entry is evaluated for its Character Development, Ear for Authentic Speech, Camouflage of Exposition, Thrilling Story, Dramatic Structure, and Clever Use of Festival Theme. 

Shereen Ahmed and Laird Mackintosh Will Lead the MY FAIR LADY Tour

Returning to lead the cast are Shereen Ahmed as Eliza Doolittle, Laird Mackintosh as Professor  Henry Higgins, Leslie Alexander as Mrs. Higgins, Adam Grupper as Alfred P. Doolittle, Kevin  Pariseau as Colonel Pickering, Gayton Scott as Mrs. Pearce, and Sam Simahk as Freddy Eynsford-Hill.

The Playwrights Realm Announces Revamped Community Programming

As The Playwrights Realm's 15th anniversary Restart Season continues, its community programming, which last season offered 40 free workshops and classes to over 1,200 attendees, will continue to play a key role in its mission to support playwrights and the theater community at large, with the primary goal of offering visible paths toward improving all forms of access within the industry.

PASS OVER Announces Rush Ticket Policy

Tickets will be sold at the BO only, starting at 10 am on the day of the performance, and will be available until the box office has sold 30 tickets. Two tickets are allowed to be purchased per person, first come, first served. Tickets are $32.50 + $2.50 per ticket.

PASS OVER Moves Up Broadway Opening to August 22

Antoinette Chinonye Nwandu's acclaimed, award-winning play Pass Over, directed by Obie Award winner Danya Taymor, will move its opening night up to Sunday August 22, 2021, three weeks earlier than the previously announced opening date of Sunday September 12, 2021.

PASS OVER Announces Lucky Seat Digital Lottery

PASS OVER announced today that it has launched a digital lottery with Lucky Seat for its Broadway run, which began last night, Wednesday August 4, at the August Wilson Theatre (245 W 52nd Street, New York, NY). Opening night is set for Sunday September 12.
