FIREBONE THEATRE has announced the world premiere production of Don Nguyen'sRED FLAMBOYANT, directed by Laura Savia. RED FLAMBOYANT will play a limited engagement at Anderson Hall at Calvary St. George's (61 Gramercy Park North, New York, NY 10010). Performances begin Friday, April24 and continue through Saturday, May16. Opening Night is Saturday, April25 (8 p.m.).

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater and Women's Project Theater will present the world premiere of The Undeniable Sound of Right Now, written by Laura Eason (S e x with Strangers,'House of Cards') and directed by Kirsten Kelly (Slipping), beginning Thursday, March 19 at 7pm at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place, west of Seventh Avenue South. Opening night is set for Thursday, April 2 at 7pm. The production is set to run through Saturday, May 2.

Beginning tonight, February 17, Sienna Miller ('American Sniper,' After Miss Julie) will take over the role of 'Sally Bowles' opposite Alan Cumming in Broadway's Cabaret at Studio 54. Cabaret is playing a limited engagement through March 29, 2015 at the Kit Kat Klub at Studio 54 on Broadway (254 West 54th Street).

Company of Fools (COF), a partner of the Sun Valley Center for the Arts, has received a generous gift from estate of the late Walt Witcover. Witcover, a theatre professional for more than 50 years, was a mentor to COF and important friend of the organization. He passed away in 2013.

Dayton's premier professional regional theatre continues its legacy of developing new works and its long-standing relationship with New York writer Michael Slade as it prepares for the first ever production of Slade's latest play, Family Shots, at downtown's The Loft Theatre. Charming family patriarch Sam Baker lies in a hospital bed, recovering from an apparent heart attack, but his wife, Marsha, won't stop making the crisis all about her -- much to the dismay of their son, Aaron. The young photographer wonders why his parents even stay together while he and his husband, Malcolm, deal with their own issues as newlyweds. Intimate, yet universal, Family Shots is a wildly funny and touching comedy about marriage -- its joys, challenges and responsibilities -- and what's worth fighting for. The production runs tonight, January 22 - February 8, 2015.

Father and son forgiveness is at the heart of a hilarious, heart-wrenching and triumphant solo play by writer/performer Mitch Hara. Directed by Terri Hanauer, Mutant Olive opens tonight, Jan. 22 at the Lounge Theatre, where it will run Todays, Fridays and Saturdays through Feb. 28.

This American Blonde Actress and Mississippi Mud Productions announce the return of SHARON TATE IN HEAVEN to Los Angeles January 24-25 for two shows only at the famed Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute's Marilyn Monroe Theatre. It is a 'birthday' tour of Sharon Tate in Heaven in LA, coinciding with Sharon Tate's birthday (b. January 24, 1943). It includes new material inspired by the last LA tour. John Strasberg, internationally known Director/Actor/Teacher comes to Lakewood Theatre Company for two one-week intensive acting workshops, Jan. 11-17 and Jan. 17-22, 2015. Students may take one or both workshops.

A Jewish Theater Company and New York's first one dedicated to Sabbath-observant artists, will present A DYBBUK FOR TWO PEOPLE, Bruce Myers's acclaimed two person adaptation of S. THE PLACE WE BUILT - a new play by Sarah Gancher that marks the 2nd annual production from the Clifford Odets Play Commission - will receive its debut tonight, December 11-14 at the Marilyn Monroe Theatre (115 E. 15 St. Lee Strasberg Way) in Manhattan.

'A Hard Rain' by Jon Bradfield and Martin Hooper is set in 1969 Greenwich Village in the sweltering few days before the Stonewall riots. A drag queen and former soldier named Ruby, veteran of ten months' fighting in Vietnam, rocks up in Greenwich Village in high heels and a rage. In a Mafia-run bar greased with smart-talking queers, bribe-happy cops and nervous Wall Street high-flyers, she meets a street kid and will change his world, and ours. The piece debuted in February-March, 2014 at Above the Stag Theatre in London. Theater for the New City will present the play's American premiere, directed by Michael Luggio, January 6 to 25, 2015.
