Ronald Rand starring in LET IT BE ART! will perform at Krakow's prestigious Nowa Huta Cultural Center in KRAKOW FEST International Festival as a Guest of Honor on May 10th.
US Cultural Ambassador Ronald Rand celebrating his 26th year starring as Harold Clurman, the "Elder Statesman of the American Theatre" touring around the world across five continents in his celebrated solo play, LET IT BE ART! will perform at the Nowa Huta Cultural Center Theatre in Krakow, Poland on May 10th.
Ronald Rand's transformational performance as Harold Clurman in LET IT BE ART! has received standing ovations around the world in 28 countries, in three critically acclaimed Off-Broadway productions, representing the United States at the 2018 World Theater Olympics, and at over a hundred theaters, art centers, colleges and universities around the world and across America.
Ronald Rand's performance becomes an intimate encounter with Harold Clurman's life and around the world to New York City, Paris and Hollywood meeting several fascinating luminaries including Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg, Constantin Stanislavski, Marlon Brando, Clifford Odets, Alfred Stieglitz, Katharine Hepburn, Isadora Duncan, Aaron Copland, and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Harold Clurman encourages audiences to open their hearts and minds to make a positive difference in this world, and re-affirm the goodness and humanity of life.

KRAKOW FEST is organized by the Kite Theatre, Krakow Cultural Forum & Miastro Krawkow, and is under the Honorary Patronage of the Mayor of Krakow. During this year's edition, "Eros Awakened," the four-day festival brings together artists of solo performances, including works from Poland, Spain, Romania, Turkey, South Korea, Palestine, Jordan, Switzerland, Bulgaria, the UK, and the USA.
The KRAKOW FEST will also feature Ronald Rand's "Art of Transformation" master workshop sharing Constantin Stanislavfswki's original "Method of Physical Actions" chart on transformation in acting-creating a unique opportunity for both artists and audiences to engage more deeply with the craft of theatre.
Rand recent performances include at the Black Mountain Center for the Arts near Asheville, North Carolina, at Patras' Lithografeion Theater, Nairobi's National Theatre in The Kenya International Theater Festival, in Suðureyri at the International Act Alone Festival in Iceland, in Athens as the Closing Ceremony Performance at the WAAE Global Summit, and Sri Lanka's famous Elphinstone Theatre in the Colombo International Theatre Festival.
