Bridge Street Theatre in Catskill, NY will present the world premiere of SOUTH: A NAUTICAL MUSICAL from July 24 to August 3, 2025. This original musical by Carmen Borgia, directed and choreographed by Timothy Dakin-Dunn, features pirates, nuns, a live 8-piece band, and a cast of local and New York-based performers.

The Barnstormers Theatre is kicking off the summer with the hit Broadway musical Something Rotten! from June 26 through July 5. Directed by Artistic Director Jordan Ahnquist.

After two delays due to COVID-19, Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe will finally bring to the stage the world-premiere musical, “Ruby.”

This multi-award winning musical started running in the 1990’s off-Broadway and has been revived multiple times. Once on This Island was nominated for 9 Tony Awards, winning in the category of Best Revival of a musical in 2018. Take note, as this musical is currently in development by Disney as a film adaptation.

Guys and Dolls is a musical featuring lyrics and music by Frank Loesser and book by Abe Burrow and Jo Swerling. The production follows the lives of New York’s underworld of guys who are cheats, gamblers and gangsters, and the dolls they love that make their lives even more complicated. It premiered on the Broadway stage in 1950. Many will remember the 1955 film version starring the all-star cast of Frank Sinatra, Marlon Brando, Jean Simmons and Vivian Blaine. So many memorable songs came from this production.

On Sunday, March 15 2015, to celebrate Broadway Sings for Pride's (www.BroadwaySingsforPride.com) upcoming 5th Anniversary Gay Pride charity concert in June, they will be amping up the star power and going into the recording studio. The selection of songs will be favorites from their previous shows and cast members who support Broadway Sings for Pride including a special arrangement of Seasons of Love featuring RENT Alumni.
