Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Meet LES MISERABLES International Tour's Little People!

While watching a revival production of Lionel Bart's 'Oliver!' in London, LES MISERABLES Co-creator Alain Boublil saw the similarities between literature's favorite little street urchins Oliver Twist, from Charles Dicken's novel of the same name, and Gavroche, from Victor Hugo's LES MISERABLES, which sparked the idea to cowrite the novel-to-stage adaptation of the latter with Claude-Michel Schonberg more than 30 years ago.

On April 8, 2016, at 8:00PM, The New York Pops took center stage at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage in The Music of John Williams: From Spielberg to Star Wars. Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke lead the orchestra in a celebration of the work of legendary film composer John Williams, with a strong focus on his collaborations with Academy Award-winning director Steven Spielberg. The orchestra breathed life into some of cinema's most iconic scores, including selections from E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Jurassic Park. The concert also included a look at Williams' seminal scoring of the Star Wars films, from their beginnings in the 1970s to today's The Force Awakens. Earlier this week, MCC Theater's Miscast gala, an annual highlight of the New York theater season, honored Oscar winning star of stage and screen and MCC alum Marisa Tomei. The gala featured show-stopping performances by Emmy Award nominee Tituss Burgess; Tony Award winners Lea Salonga and Linda Lavin; Tony Award nominee Keala Settle; and stage and screen stars Aaron Tveit, Beth Behrs, Cynthia Erivo, Ana Villafañe, and Shanice Williams.
