Outback Concerts and University of Illinois Springfield proudly announce: A Very Special Evening with VINCE GILL on Sunday, October 20 at 7:30 PM at Sangamon Auditorium.

Director of Soho Estates Fawn James and Artistic Director Rachel Edwards together announce the opening programme for the Boulevard as the newly-reimagined venue opens its doors to the public for the first time in October 2019. The first show will be the London premiere of Dave Malloy's celebrated song cycle Ghost Quartet brought to life by the team behind the recent hit production of Sweeney Todd which won great acclaim in London and New York. Ghost Quartet will run alongside a packed roster of late-night and Sunday performances of cabaret, improv, jazz, comedy, classical music and poetry. The Boulevard Theatre's 2020 season will be announced in September.

Country music veteran Deborah Allen was surprised with a special presentation by T.G. Sheppard, Kelly Lang and WSM's Devon O'Day at Nashville's 3rd & Lindsley Wednesday night during the 6th annual Country For A Cause, benefiting Monroe Carell Jr's Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. A proclamation from Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, celebrating Deborah's 40 years in country music, was tearfully and happily received. The honor acknowledges not only her contributions as a singer, but also as a celebrated, successful songwriter having been awarded seven BMI One Million Air-Play Awards for her hit songwriting repertoire and one BMI Two Million Air-Play Award for her smash hit “Baby I Lied.”

The fourth Musco Center for the Arts season at Chapman University will run September 2019 through May 2020 with a packed schedule of artists and groups from the worlds of opera, dance, theatre, and classical music as well as Broadway, jazz, country, and American roots music. Among the special events will be several spectacular holiday celebrations, culturally specific performances and festivals, and a live orchestra accompaniment of Disney's Pixar movie music to screened excerpts from the studio's most popular films.

Modern country singer and songwriter Ava Rowland world premiered a new video today for 'Exit Sign' on her YouTube channel [Click here to watch]. The song is the second single from Ava's 2018 EP, Polaroid Picture. The video features a live solo presentation of Ava with her guitar, showcasing her dynamic vocal abilities on a song that she holds very dear to her heart.

Gianandrea Noseda will lead the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) in their first Carnegie Hall concert together on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. This performance in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage marks the Orchestra's first performance in six years at the Hall.
