HGTV's epic reboot of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will feature LeAnn Rimes, the latest celebrity to join a cadre of special guest stars who will support massive community build and renovation efforts for local heroes. Rimes, a 2009 recipient of the Academy of Country Music(R) Humanitarian Award, is no stranger to helping those in need. This time, the two-time GRAMMY Award(R) winner and ASCAP award-winning songwriter will join forces with series host Jesse Tyler Ferguson, an award-winning actor and star of the ABC sitcom Modern Family on a build project. Together with volunteers, special guests and other experts, including the show's regularly appearing designers Breegan Jane, Carrie Locklyn and Darren Keefe, they will help execute life-changing home transformations for deserving families. An internationally known, multi-platinum selling singer, Rimes will appear in one of 10 highly anticipated new episodes of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition that will air on HGTV in early 2020.

Kalie Shorr Releases Two Songs Off Album 'Open Book'

Country trailblazer, Kalie Shorr is releasing two additional tracks in preparation for her upcoming album Open Booktoday. Premiered by Taste of Country, “Too Much To Say” is an honest take on being honest and a fitting introduction to Shorr's new sonic direction. GRAMMY Museum Announces Face The Music

 Music and photography share a common nexus for experiencing feeling and are linked in contextualizing human emotion. During a five-year project led by photographer Richard Ehrlich, these two art forms came together in a unique and moving way and aimed to redefine the profound and transcendent influence music has on human emotion through facial expression. Ehrlich accomplished this by capturing close-up facial expressions of artists listening to their favorite songs as seen in his photography book Face The Music published by Steidl. To showcase these portraits, the GRAMMY Museum®proudly announces Face The Music, a new photography exhibit showcasing 41 legendary musicians including Dee Dee Bridgewater, Michael Bublé, Kenny Burrell, Sheryl Crow, Gustavo Dudamel, Quincy Jones, Iggy Pop, RZA, Esperanza Spalding, Ringo Starr, and many more. The exhibit will open to the public on Sept. 12 and will run through Jan. 6, 2020.

CMA Songwriters Series Announces Phoenix Performance

The Country Music Association's acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series Presented by   U.S. Bank has announced a performance in Phoenix at Mesa Arts Center's Piper Repertory Theater Wednesday, Aug. 21 featuring Lauren Alaina, Ingrid Andress, Marti Lynn Dodson and Mickey Guyton. The series hosts an intimate round of performances with some of Country Music's top songwriters taking turns sharing the stories behind their hit songs and performing them as originally written. Tickets for the performance start at $23 plus service fees and go on sale Friday, July 19 at 12:00 PM/CT through Mesa Arts Center. $1 of each ticket sold will benefit the CMA Foundation, CMA's philanthropic arm, which is committed to improving and sustaining high quality music education programs across the United States.

Ghost Quartet will run alongside a packed roster of late-night and Sunday performances of cabaret, improv, jazz, comedy, classical music and poetry.
