The Road Theatre Company's submission process is now open for new material to be considered for their upcoming playwrights festival. 

Signature Theatre will present the world premiere production of MacArthur Fellow Sarah Ruhl’s Letters from Max, directed by Kate Whoriskey, based on the book by Ruhl and Max Ritvo, February 7–March 19, 2023.

Announced on the heels of his highly-anticipated new Netflix special Sebastian Maniscalco: Is It Me?, which debuted on Dec. 6, 2023, world-renowned comedian and Wynn Las Vegas headliner Sebastian Maniscalco will add four additional performances to his 2023 Sebastian Maniscalco, Live from Las Vegas run at Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas, March 3-4, 2023 with shows at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. nightly.

Tony Award & Emmy Award Nominee Jessica Hecht will join Tony Award & Academy Award nominee Laura Linney in Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of Summer, 1976 written by Pulitzer Prize winner David Auburn and directed by Tony winner Daniel Sullivan.

Three of the theatre’s most inventive, inspired and award-winning artists will return to the stage, bringing to vivid theatrical life a comic and dramatic portrait of a mother, a father and the son who photographed their lives.

Playwright Lucas Hnath was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. Later his move to New York led him to study Pre-Med, but soon he changed his major to Dramatic Writing, where he studied at Tisch School for the Arts earning a BFA, and subsequently following an MFA. Hnath is the playwright of 10 Dramatic works. His Broadway Debut and most notably his best work A Doll's House Part 2, debuted on Broadway in April of 2017 and closed in September later that year. Commissioned by South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, California, Hnath's contemporary spin/sequel to the Ibsen classic starred Laurie Metcalf, Chris Cooper, Jayne Houdyshell, and Condola Rashad. Metcalf later went on to win a Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for her portrayal of Nora Helmer. Subsequently, Hnath's work was also a nominee for Best Play at the time.

Directed by Fernando Philbert, and starring Suely Franco, Deborah Evelyn e Nathalia Dill the play brings a biting comedy that reflects on the passage of time through the settling of accounts between three generations.

Pictures From Home is headed to Broadway in 2023 starring  Nathan Lane, Danny Burstein and Zoë Wanamaker and staged by award-winning director Bartlett Sher. Learn more about the play and how to purchase tickets here!

The performance at hand has its moments, and they are all while Patrick Warburton is on stage. He is a funny actor performing funny roles in funny scripts. I wish this group had just performed the texts as written. There are sound cues, animations, deadly pauses, and unexplainable impersonations which weigh down the tempos of the plays.

Threshold Stage Company will present 'Misery' by William Goldman (adapted from Stephen King's best-selling novel). The show will be directed by Jack Neary at the Star Theatre at the Kittery Community Center from October 21st - November 6th, 2022.

Beanie Feldstein has joined the cast of Ethan Coen's new film, joining the previously announced Margaret Qualley and Geraldine Viswanathan. The picture will be Coen's first time directing a film without his brother, Joel. Plot and character details are currently being kept under wraps.
