The results are in for the seventh annual BroadwayWorld New York Cabaret Awards! BroadwayWorld would like to extend congratulations to all of this year's winners and nominees in the 17 categories.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway cast twice monthly. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida, Footloose, Dance Captain Dance Attack web series) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday night, 1/10, Broadway Sessions will welcome cast members from The New Group's sold out hit production of Clueless, The Musical and more.

Randi Driscoll hosts Loni Ackerman , Karen Akers, Timothy Ware-Hill, Walter Willison, and more, for a one night only event, benefitting New York artist, Erin Cronican.

Internationally renowned, multiple award winning performer, Yael Rasooly brings her critically lauded show, "Glamour in the Dark," back to NYC for three performances at the Laurie Beechman Theatre: Jan. 9th and Jan. 13th at 7pm and Feb. 2nd at 1pm. Yael, one of Israel's leading theater artists, will perform a repertoire of music from the 1920s to 1950s with celebrated accordionist, Iliya Magalnyk, bringing to life dramatic, romantic and nostalgic music from composers Charles Dumont, Edith Piaf, Sholom Secunda and more. The Laurie Beechman Theatre is at 407 West 42nd Street in the rear and downstairs at the West Bank Cafe. A $15 cover charge and $20 food and drink minimum per person applies.

Rising New York cabaret star Dawn Derow, 2018 MAC Award winner for Best Female Vocalist, will showcase her critically-acclaimed show MY SHIP: SONGS FROM 1941 at the Laurie Beechman on January 5.

Super young, super hip, super talented cast members from Dear Evan Hansen joined us at Broadway Sessions recently. With a median age of about 20, they showed us just why they have scored some of the most coveted tracks on Broadway. Enjoy performances by Mallory Bechtel, Phoenix Best, Dan Macke, Diamond Essence White, Gabrielle Carrubba and Josh Strobl. Also enjoy performances by teenage powerhouses Robert Montano and Teagan Dye.

The Holiday Stars shown bright this last week as Broadway Sessions presented it's annual All Star Holiday Show! Broadway vets and newcomers alike shared their favorite "holiday" tunes and nearly blew the garland off the tree with the power of their voices.
