On October 27th 2018, A Time To SCREAM Youth Cabaret (aka A Time To Shine) will be performing its first Halloween Cabaret at the Laurie Beechman with special guest host Morgan Hecker (Penn State Musical Theatre BFA, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, 1st National Tour). The Halloween Cabaret will feature talented young artists from the Broadway community performing solos, duets, group numbers, and more. Directed and Produced by Leorah Haberfield, the Cabaret begins at 7pm with doors open at 6pm. $25 Cash only cover/$20 food beverage minimum.

Doreen will be celebrating her birthday, as well as 30 years in the business, and her journey from The Bronx to Broadway. Doreen has also been on Broadway in the TONY award-winning show In The Heights.

We said mazel tov to the incredibly talented and recently extended (again) cast of the Yiddish Nation Theater Folkbiene production of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish. The cast performed and told stories about their groundbreaking production (Ince again recently extended until Dec. 30th!). There were laughs a plenty, belly high noted and YES, even some Yiddish! This year, a living legend of musical theatre turns 90: Lyricist-bookwriter Tom Jones (who also, under a stage name) appeared in the original company of his most famous and wildly successful record-breaking musical, The Fantasticks. His collaborator, composer Harvey Schmidt, just recently passed away. The production's record-breaking run closed, on January 13, 2002, after 17,162 performances. Their shows also include 110 in the Shade, I Do! I Do!, Philemon, Celebration and many more. And celebration is what it's about when Broadway veterans Carole Demas, who originated the role of Sandy in Grease, and Sarah Rice, who originated the role of Johanna in Sweeney Todd, return to celebrate Jones & Schmidt. Demas and Rice have based the show on their 50 years of work and personal relationships with Tom and Harvey. With very special guest Broadway's Hal Robinson who is also a Fantasticks alumni.

We got Gettin' The Band Back Together- BACK TOGETHER at Broadway Sessions recently. Cast members reunited to tell stories from the show and perform music they love to sing. There were Bon Jovi shout outs a plenty, and laughs galore, just like GTBBT! Cast members Mitchell Jarvis, Garth Kravits, Noa Solorio, Becca Kotte, Ian Ward, Lindsey Brett Carothers, Scott Foster and special guests Eugene Ebner and Jocelin Weiss blew the roof off the joint! The cast even treated the audience to our signature "Sloppy Plot Synopses", so if you missed the show, now you can know just what you missed ;)
