The Black Box Cabaret will present a special cabaret revue spotlighting the talents of promising young singers today, November 9 at 7:30 pm. This fourth annual Rising Stars Cabaret is presented in an intimate, nightclub atmosphere with professional accompaniment. Former rising stars have gone on to top musical theatre college programs and sung at New York City cabaret venues such as Broadway Sessions at the Laurie Beechman Theater.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you know that Wicked recently celebrated 15 years on Broadway! To celebrate, Broadway Sessions offered up our 4th annual "ElphaBall. Former "Green Girls" Alyssa Fox, Stephanie Torns and Maddy Trumble came to perform songs that reflected their time and experiences as well as themes relating to Wicked. We also welcomed four incredible "Rising Stars" to channel their inner Elphabas, and boy, did they deliver. Enjoy Elora Von Rosch, Bridget Hughes, Victoria Scovens and Persard Owens. What a ball it was!

THE GREEN ROOM 42 will present "Bossa Blue: The James Taylor Songbook" featuring Brad Cole and Kate Ferber on Thursday, November 14 at 9:30 PM.

Amy Wolk and Nikki M. James present I Only Have Lies For You, a live gameshow that pits Broadway panelists against each other in a lying contest, now in its second hit season! Two teams of three will go head-to-head telling stories, some of which may not be true---it is up to the other team to guess, Truth or Lie. Featuring musical direction by Steven Ray Watkins, panelists will defend their stories by all means possible, including song and dance. Hosted by MAC Award winner Amy Wolk, I Only Have Lies For You is presented monthly at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in New York City, and is being recorded as a podcast, which can be found on iTunes.

Broadway Sessions celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15- October 15). We invited some of our favorite Latinx Broadway performers to share songs and stories reflecting their early hispanic influences on Broadway and beyond. Rodney Ingram (Phantom of the Opera), Yurel Echerezatta (Head Over Heels), Roddy Kennedy (Hamilton), Jennifer Sanchez (Pretty Woman), Julius Anthony Rubio (Frozen), Kathryn Allison (Aladdin) alongside "Rising Stars" AJ Alvarez and Hector Lionel enchanted the audience with heartfelt performances in both English and Spanish.
