MTV has announced a starry lineup of presenters for the 2021 Video Music Awards. The ceremony will be hosted by Doja Cat, who will also be taking the stage as a performer. Other previously announced performances include Camila Cabello, Olivia Rodrigo, Justin Bieber, and more.
Returning to his post as everyone’s favorite bartender, Wells Adams also adds master of rose ceremonies to his duties and will be joined throughout the season by a rotating roster of celebrity guest hosts including David Spade, Lance Bass, Lil Jon and Tituss Burgess.
The event opened with a Spring/Summer 2021 runway show from Hollywood-favorite fashion brand alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet. Lance Bass welcomed everyone to the event, and brought Isabella and Mariella Rickel to the stage, who gave a heartfelt introduction to their mother, Nancy Davis. Nancy thanked everyone for their ongoing commitment to the cause, and expressed her excitement over Earth, Wind & Fire’s upcoming performance.

The concert event, which will serve as The Stonewall Inn’s official PRIDE kick-off, will benefit The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative’s Safe Spaces Community Partners, which are LGBTQA+ Centers in select areas across the country.
