BACK TO OZ is an exhilarating trip through history and down the Yellow Brick Road

BroadwayWorld talks with WICKED alumn Carmen Cusack, who will headline BACK TO OZ: From The Wonderful Wizard to The Wiz to Wicked at the Mark Taper Forum April 18–26.

MUSE/IQUE will present BACK TO OZ, tracing Oz from the 1939 MGM film to THE WIZ to WICKED, at the Mark Taper Forum in April 2026, led by Artistic Director Rachael Worby.

Following a very successful production of Plenty of Heart, Plenty of Hope at The Wallis, MUSE/IQUE is presenting Freedom at The Moulin Rouge: A Las Vegas Civil Rights Story at The Huntington August 27th and 28th, and at the Skirball Cultural Center September 4th and 5th. MUSE/IQUE’s artistic director Rachael Worby will direct guest vocalists: Kenton Chen, LaVance Colley, Ashley Faatoalia, Jabu Graybeal and Crystal Starr. Crystal found some time to answer a few of my queries.

 MUSE/IQUE's 2024 season, themed Make Some Noise: Music and Stories of American Defiance and Hope, opens on March 15 at 7:30 pm, March 16 at 2:30 pm and March 17 at 7:30 pm, 2024.

 MUSE/IQUE continues its adventurous yearlong concert series, L.A. Composed: A Festival of Los Angeles Music, Each concert of L.A.Composed  will focus on a different street and the music that is associated with it.

The pandemic caused millions of weddings to be canceled, leaving wedding singers across the country out of work. Match and Ryan Reynolds’ Maximum Effort have teamed up to create a new song that encourages singles to “Get Back to Love” featuring 12 real life wedding singers so the entertainers can “get back to work.” 

This. Is. Love. Charity Concert For Freedom For Immigrants, produced by Ben Caron and David Krich on November 8, 2019 at 9PM, is a concert uniting the Broadway, film/ television and music communities, featuring songs of resistance, compassion and hope to benefit a?oeFreedom for Immigrantsa?? at Sayers Club, Hollywood. The uplifting event is a one-night-only charity benefit for non-profit Freedom for Immigrants, in advocacy for a more compassionate and humane immigration policy. The event will feature songs performed by musicians and actors from the Broadway, television and film communities in solidarity with immigrants.

Broadway YouTuber Michael Korte is back with another creative masterpiece, A Medley of The Muses from Hercules like you've never seen before!
