TINA - THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL Releases its Original Cast Recording on CD Today

Tina a?" The Tina Turner Musical: Original Cast Recording is available worldwide on CD, both online and in stores, starting today, Friday, October 11. Featuring the original London cast, the album was released for download and streaming earlier this year. The release will coincide with the musical's first Broadway preview at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street) on Saturday, October 12. The CD features a 20-page booklet, which includes liner notes, synopsis, and production and studio photography. The album was recorded in February 2019 at Angel Studios and RAK Studios, produced by the show's Music Supervisor Nicholas Skilbeck and Kurt Deutsch, and co-produced by Tom Kelly. Justin Audibert Hosts BEYOND THE FABLES Fundraising Gala At The Unicorn

National Theatre Announces New Exhibition THEATRE TREASURES

Celebrating 25 years of the National Theatre Archive, this exhibition reveals some of the treasures of the collection. Theatre-makers, playwrights and researchers were invited to choose an object which inspires them from the Archive. Participants included theatre critic Michael Billington, directors Simon Godwin and Emily Lim, playwright and director Patrick Marber and actor Kobna Holdbrook-Smith. Their responses sit alongside the objects in the exhibition.

WhatsOnStage today announce that Vicky Vox and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith will present the 19th annual WhatsOnStage Awards on 3 March 2019 at the Prince of Wales Theatre. Both hosts are nominated at this year's event - Vox for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for her performance in Regent's Park Open Air Theatre's Little Shop of Horrors; and Holdbrook-Smith for Best Actor in a Musical for his performance as Ike Turner in Tina - The Tina Turner Musical at the Aldwych Theatre.
