Several great performers have joined the National Alliance for Musical Theatre's 20th Annual Festival of New Musicals on October 20 & 21 at New World Stages and more have been added to the benefit concert A Toast for 20! on October 19th at COMIX.

Kevin Early (A Tale of Two Cities),Sandy Binion ( and Herschel Sparber (Guys and Dolls) have joined the cast of the by-invitation-only reading of the new musical How The Nurse Feels will be presented Oct. 20 at in New World Stages in Manhattan.

After the curtain call for the Tuesday, October 7th Broadway performance of Grease at Brooks Atkinson Theater, Olivia Newton-John returned to Rydell High and joined the cast to promote Breast Cancer Awareness.

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) and Executive Director Kathy Evans announced the directors and casts for the eight musicals being presented at its 20th Annual Festival of New Musicals at New World Stages (340 West 50th St) on Monday, October 20 and Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Also, announced were the line-up for this year's Songwriter Showcase happening during the Festival.

OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN, the four-time Grammy Award winner and iconic star of the film GREASE, has partnered with CURVES, the world's largest fitness franchise for women, to launch an international campaign to distribute 1 million units of the LIV AID, a breast self-exam aid that assists women to exercise breast exams correctly, during 'Breast Cancer Awareness Month.' Newton-John will join the Broadway cast of GREASE on stage at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre immediately following the Tuesday, October 7 performance and present a LIV AID kit to every female audience member.

The ensemble of GREASE features Ashley Arcement, Brian Crum, Natalie Hill ('Cha-Cha'), Keven Quillon, Josh Rouah, Allie Schulz, Brian Sears, Christina Sivrich, Amber Stone, Anna Aimee White.

Max Crumm and Laura Osnes played their last performance as Danny and Sandy in Grease on Sunday, July 20th 2008. The gang at Rydell High will get a new 'class couple' on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 when Derek Keeling and Ashley Spencer join the cast in the lead roles of 'Danny' and 'Sandy.'
