The producers of the smash hit Broadway production of GREASE are proud to announce that 'American Idol' Season Five finalist, Ace Young, will make his Broadway debut when he joins the company in the role of 'Kenickie'.

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) and Executive Director Kathy Evans announced the directors and preliminary casts for the eight musicals being presented at its 20th Annual Festival of New Musicals at New World Stages (340 West 50th St) on Monday, October 20 and Tuesday, October 21, 2008

The producers of the smash hit Broadway production of GREASE are proud to announce that 'American Idol' Season Five finalist, Ace Young, will make his Broadway debut when he joins the company in the role of 'Kenickie' on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Ace Young achieved widespread fame in 2006 as a finalist on the hugely successful FOX singing competition 'American Idol.' With weekly exposure to the 40 million plus viewers of America's most widely watched television program, Ace quickly became one of the most recognizable male faces ever to appear on 'Idol.'

Continuing its free lunchtime series this week, '106.7 Lite fm Presents Broadway in Bryant Park 2008' welcomes the casts of Young Frankenstein, 13, Grease, Legally Blonde The Musical & Rent on Thursday, August 14th. The following day, Friday August 15th the casts of The Lion King, Enter Laughing, Hairspray, Godspell & Forbidden Broadway will be performing.

The cast returns to the Brooks Atkinson Theatre 19-days after their musical was halted by the stagehands' strike.
