Start spreadin' the news! The ninth annual Jimmy Award winners were announced yesterday at the Minskoff Theatre. This year's finalists included: Sam Primack, Nathan Keffer, Antonio Cipriano, Jasmine Rogers, Hatty King, Maggie Gidden and winners Sofia Deler and Tony Moreno. Giordano Dance Chicago (GDC), America's original jazz dance company, heats up 2017 with the sizzle of jazz dance at McAninch Arts Center (MAC) Today, February 4 at 7:30 p.m. The Chicago Sun-Times calls GDC, 'more stunning than ever;' Dance Magazine calls them, 'a burst of pure dance joy;' and Time Out Chicago says, 'When the curtain falls and the evening ends, there are a lot of grateful, happily satisfied customers.'

Pittsburgh CLO is proud to announce casting for the Pittsburgh premiere of PUMP BOYS & DINETTES, January 26 - April 15, 2017 at the CLO Cabaret.

The evening closed with former NHSMTA participant Eva Noblezada, who performed 'On My Own' and 'Do You Hear the People Sing' with the nominees. Every year the nation's most talented high schoolers flock to the Minskoff Theatre for the NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE AWARDS (NHSMTA)/JIMMY AWARDS. This year's the eighth annual ceremony took place on June 27, hosted by Tony Award®-nominee Zachary Levi. The coveted Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor was presented to Josh Stroblrepresenting The Jerry Herman Awards and Amina Faye representing The Blumey Awards.
