Voting is NOW OPEN and the first votes are in for the 2019 BroadwayWorld Connecticut Awards, brought to you by TodayTix! The nominees are set, and now you can vote to make sure your favorite local theatres and performers are recognized!

Executive and Artistic Director Keith Gerth and Associate Artistic Director Stephen Smith announce Oil Lamp Theater's 2019 holiday show, It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play by Joe Landry. This special presentation, directed by Keith Gerth, will be performed from November 29 through December 29, 2019 - with extra Saturday matinees and Sunday evening performances added -- at 1723 Glenview Road, Glenview.

Music Theatre of Connecticut MainStage, Fairfield County's professional award-winning theatre company, concludes its 32nd Season with Cabaret, written by Joe Masteroff with music by John Kander and Lyrics by Fred Ebb. Cabaret takes place from 1929-1930, a time when Berlin is transitioning from a center of underground, avant-garde cultural epicenter to the beginnings of Hitler's totalitarian regime and the rise of the Nazi Party. Cabaret will run from March 29th until April 14th- Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 4pm and 8pm and Sundays at 2pm.

Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce Colin Quinn performing on Saturday, June 23, and Bobby Collins on Saturday, July 28, with both shows at 8 pm. ESPN2 will televise NBA Africa Game 2017 live on Saturday, Aug. 5, at 11 a.m. ET. The game will emanate from the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg, South Africa, and will air exclusively on ESPN2 in the U.S.

NYMF is coming to a close but there are still plenty of shows to catch before the annual festival packs up until next summer. Of course, NYMF isn't the only thing summer brings to the city.
