The second mainstage production of Pasadena Playhouse’s six-month-long Sondheim celebration A Little Night Music opens April 30, 2023 (with previews beginning April 25th). David Lee directs this 50th anniversary production of A Little Night Music with a cast of 19, accompanied by a full-sized orchestra.  Jodi Long, who plays Madame Armfeldt, took some time to answer a few of my queries.

The Producers Guild of America (PGA) hosted the 34th Annual Producers Guild Awards on Saturday, February 25th at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The evening recognized influential film producers and entertainment icons with special honors including Tom Cruise with the David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures; Mindy Kaling with the Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television; Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy with the Milestone Award; and “Till” with the Stanley Kramer Award.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) hosted the BAFTA Tea Party for the first time in two years on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles. The 23rd annual Newport Beach Film Festival (NBFF) will present the largest celebration of Irish Cinema in North America during its eight-day run (Oct. 13-20, 2022) in Southern California. Highlights include an Irish Showcase event, red carpet premieres, 10 Irish feature-length films, the U.S. premiere of Ireland's foreign Oscar submission, 13 Irish short films and the participation of Irish filmmakers and dignitaries.
