When this year’s PROTOTYPE Festival was put off for a year because of Covid concerns, some of the pieces went into mothballs. Taylor Mac’s THE HANG, under the auspices of HERE, one of New York’s major downtown arts organizations, based in Tribeca, decided to, uh, hang around.
The Obie Award-winning HERE announced today that The Hang, featuring book and lyrics by Taylor Mac, music by Matt Ray and direction by Niegel Smith, has added three performances to its run due to popular demand. The added performances will be on Saturday February 12th, Saturday February 26th and Saturday March 5th at 2pm.
