American Players Theatre (APT) opened its 44th season on June 10 with the first performance of William Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor, with the official opening night coming up this Saturday, June 17 at 8:00 PM in the 1,075-seat Hill Theatre.

American Players Theatre (APT) is preparing to enter tech rehearsals for the summer’s second rep of performances to join the five shows currently playing. American Players Theatre began its 43rd season this past Saturday, June 11, with a preview performance of Richard Brinsley Sheridan’s The Rivals, directed by Aaron Posner. There will be a second preview performance Thursday, June 16, 2022, before the production’s opening night on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 8:00 pm.

American Players Theatre will hold the first performance of The Gift of the Magi in the Touchstone Theatre on November 26, with opening night on November 28 at 6:00 pm.
