Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers and commentators covering New York theater for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway, announced today (April 24, 2018) its nominees for the 2017-18 season. Broadway's "Come From Away" starJenn Colella along with "The Band's Visit" sensation Katrina Lenk presided over the (11AM) announcement ceremony in the Oak Room at New York's renowned Algonquin Hotel (59 W 44th Street).

Rehearsals began this week for the third West End cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child who will start their performances at the Palace Theatre in London on 23 May 2018 following the final performance from the current cast on 20 May 2018.

Beginning Friday, March 9, 2018, every Friday at 1:00 PM ET the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will release 40 tickets for every performance the following week for some of the very best seats in the theatre at $40 ($20 per part).

Full casting is announced for the award winning An Octoroon by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, transferring to the National Theatre in a co-production with the Orange Tree Theatre. The NT will tour to 30 venues in 27 towns and cities across the UK and Ireland, for a total of 83 playing weeks over the next year. Rufus Norris' Macbeth to tour to 18 venues across the UK and Ireland from autumn 2018. War Horse returns to the National Theatre marking the centenary of Armistice Day.

Producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender announced today that the next release of tickets for the Broadway premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will take place in February 2018.

The New 42nd Street Gala and Benefit Performance of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One and Two will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018. Proceeds from this special performance will support the award-winning Education Programs of The New Victory Theater.
