The Ritz Theatre Company is proud to present the second show of its 35th Anniversary season, The Lion in Winter, a delicious family drama teeming with schemes, scandals, squabbles, and power struggles-all on a kingly scale. From Friday, February 14 through Monday, February 17, BAM presents Long Weekend of Love, a Valentine's Day weekend program of great onscreen love stories, from first love to decades-spanning relationships, from classic Hollywood effervescence to tender contemporary stories of queer desire. BAM's world premiere run of Horace Jenkins' long lost Black independent cinema gem Cane River (1982) will also continue throughout the series.

BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that Rene Auberjonois, a stage and screen actor best known for his work on Star Trek, has died. According to Variety, he died from lung cancer. He was 79.

Multiple GRAMMY® Award-nominated guitarist Julian Lage has set a busy winter schedule, beginning this week with a limited run of duo performances alongside fellow guitar icon Bill Frisell.
