Mrs. Doubtfire, the new musical, will close on Broadway May 29th, 2022, at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre .

Something Rotten! is an homage to musical theater and the great bard, William Shakespeare. Come witness the hilarity, amazing music, and heart felt joy of this fantastic production.

Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) announced the release of Dramatic Moments, the first product from MTI Classroom, which is an inspiring collaboration between theatre teachers, students, authors and industry professionals designed to elevate arts education. MTI Classroom lets theatre practitioners and fans engage with the shows and musical theatre authors they know and love.

In my opinion SOMETHING ROTTEN! is a benchmark for The Palace Theatre. It’s a massive production for anyone to attempt, but to succeed so spectacularly is awe inspiring. It’s all due to Ron Watson and his stellar cast and crew.

At the opening night performance of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast on April 23, Artistic Director Joseph C. Walsh announced Garden Theatre’s upcoming 15th season. Aspire Community Theatre, which is mostly known as Aspire to local fans, is a week away from opening the second show of the  2021-2022, Season 5+ season with Something Rotten.  

Mrs. Doubtfire, THE new musical comedy resumes performances on Broadway on Thursday, April 14 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 W 43rd St).

Stolen Shakespeare Guild, Fort Worth’s classical theater company, will present Something Rotten with book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’ Farrell and music and lyrics by Karey Kirkpatrick and Wayne Kirkpatrick.

Producer Kevin McCollum announced today that the original Broadway cast of Mrs. Doubtfire will record a cast album this week in New York City. The album will feature the Broadway cast that opened the show on December 5, 2021, including Tony Award nominee Rob McClure as Daniel Hillard, Jenn Gambatese as Miranda Hillard, and more.

Mrs. Doubtfire will welcome new cast members to the company, all making their Broadway debut. Titus Landegger and Tyler Wladis will share the role of Christopher Hillard while Austin Elle Fisher and Ava Gail Prince will share the role of Natalie Hillard. Renée Reid also joins the company as a swing.
