I’m Gonna Marry You Tobey Maguire at Southwark Playhouse has extended its run to 24 August. This UK premiere of the ‘Y2K farce’ centres 13 year old Shelby Hinkley, leader of a devout online fan club who decides to kidnap famous actor Tobey Maguire, and marry him in her basement.    

Ahead of opening night this evening, all new production photos have been released from I’m Gonna Marry You Tobey Maguire, opening at Southwark Playhouse tonight and running until 10 August. Check out the photos here!

Jacob Stuckelman of Watermark Productions has released photos from inside rehearsal for the UK première of I’m Gonna Marry You Tobey Maguire by Samantha Hurley. Tyler Struble directs Kyle Birch (Brenda Dee Cankles) and Anders Hayward (Tobey Maguire) alongside the previously announced Tessa Albertson (Shelby Hinkley).

The UK première of I'm Gonna Marry You Tobey Maguire by Samantha Hurley will open at Southwark Playhouse, Borough on 3 July for a six-week run until 10 August, with previews from 28 June.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera will open for the first time in Italy at Teatro Stabile del Friuli Venezia Giulia in Trieste on 4th July 2023. Additional casting has now been announced, including Earl Carpenter as Monsieur Andre and Bradley Jaden as Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny.

Katy Galloway Productions and maatin have announced the UK première of Duck by maatin, whose play Friday at the masjid has been shortlisted for the RSC's new national playwriting competition 37 Plays, at Arcola Theatre.

This Autumn will see the highly anticipated British musical premiere its first full production in select theatres across the UK. Kicking off with a bang on 25 October at the Festival Theatre, Edinburgh, Treason will continue to Sheffield Lyceum Theatre on 31 October and finally explode into London's Alexandra Palace from 08 – 18 November.

Katy Galloway Productions has announced the London première of Smoke by Kim Davies, at Southwark Playhouse. The production opens on 3 February until 25 February with previews from 1 February.  

BroadwayHD announced today that they will be bringing Little Women to their platform for its exclusive worldwide debut on April 21.  

This electrifying new concert-style musical has original songs from chart-topping K-pop team THE HUB, led by Brian You and platinum-selling songwriter Charlotte Wilson. With an English-language book by Kyo Choi, writing song lyrics in English and using Korean elements including the choruses of several songs, ICON is sure to have audiences on their feet and singing along.

Tickets go on sale today for Rosie Day's debut play Instructions for a Teenage Armageddon at Southwark Playhouse's the Little, which will open on 9 February 2022 running until 5 March, with press night on 10 February.

The full cast has been announced for Little Women at the Park Theatre. The musical is based on the critically acclaimed 1868 novel of the same name by Louisa May Alcott.
