PBS is set to air American Masters – Blake Edwards: A Love Story in 24 Frames nationwide Tuesday, August 27 at 9 p.m. ET. Featuring never-before-seen archival video and stills, the film offers an exploration into the filmmaker’s complex life and genre-spanning career, as shared by filmmakers and family. 

PrideArts has announced it will present the off-Broadway and Broadway hit musical [title of show] to open its fall 2024-25 season from August 23 to September 22, 2024, directed by Jay Españo, with music direction by Robert Ollis.

Since making his Broadway debut in 1959, The Sound of Music (A Novica Rebelde) has become a singular phenomenon. No other show has achieved such a lasting trajectory of success as one of this musical, inspired by the true love story between a young novice and a widowed captain, father of seven.

The “Sound of Music” is a beloved musical by Rodgers and Hammerstein, and it originally opened in 1959 winning five Tony Awards. Actor Megan Urz takes the stage as Maria in the “Sound of Music” at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre from June 28th to August 10th.

Fort Salem Theater has announced the cast and creative team for Disney’s Mary Poppins, running from July 26 to August 11. Due to anticipated demand, a third weekend has been added to what is expected to be Fort Salem Theater’s biggest production to date.

A cut song from the film Enchanted has been released on YouTube. The song, titled 'Enchanted', features music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz.
