National Alliance for Musical Theatre has announced the line-up of new musicals for their 32nd Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS, on Thursday, November 19 and Friday, November 20, 2020.

On this day, we remember the original, groundbreaking Broadway production of Jonathan Larson's RENT, which played its final performance at the Nederlander Theater on this day in 2008.

Stars in the House continues today (8pm) with Shaina Taub and Peter Shane.

2021 Jonathan Larson Grant applications are now open! The application will close on Thursday, September 24th 2020 at 11:59PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).

It would not be an exaggeration to say that 'Seasons of Love' is a musical number that all South Koreans would have at least once, along with 'This is the Moment' from JEKYLL & HYDE. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of RENT in Korea, 'Seasons of Love' was sung by actors who wrote the history of RENT in South Korea along with the actors of the current production. On July 5th, 2020, Seensee Company organized 'Rent Homecoming Day' to celebrate the 20th anniversary of RENT in Korea. In this show, some of the original Korean cast of RENT appeared in the show as cameos and a total of 47 actors came out after the curtain call to introduce themselves and to sing a specially arranged version of 'Seasons of Love'.

Times Square's annual concert series celebrating the talented singer-songwriters of the theater community will return this summer for its third season. Moving to a virtual format this year, Broadway Buskers will be livestreamed every Tuesday at 7pm from July 21st through October 27th.
