The Tony Award-winning musical thriller 'Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street' will open Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center's 2018-2019 Highmark Blue Cross / Blue Shield Subscription Series in a production its creative team is calling a 'technical marvel.'
Rob Marshall, Oscar-nominee, DGA and Emmy-award winning filmmaker, producer, theater director and choreographer whose films have consistently reflected the highest quality of production design, will receive the prestigious Cinematic Imagery Award from the Art Directors Guild (ADG, IATSE, Local 800) at its 23 rd Annual Art Directors Guild's Excellence in Production Design Awards. The 2019 Awards, themed 'Production Design: Landscape of the Imagination,' will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown and will honor the prestigious spectrum of Marshall's extraordinary award-winning work. The announcement was made today by ADG Council Chairman Mark Worthington ADG and Awards Producers Scott Moses ADG and Marco Miehe ADG.
Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director), recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, is proud to announce that interior renovations to the historic theater are complete in time for the 80th anniversary season. The interior of the theater was renovated over the summer of 2018, including replacement of all the theater's seating. Theater supporters are invited to contribute to the seat campaign by purchasing a name plaque as part of the theater's "Name a Seat" fundraiser. This lays the foundation for a greater capital campaign for the Millburn theater.

Working with creative distribution strategist Mia Bruno, the film will begin its roll-out in New York and Los Angeles on October 12th. Winner of the Gryphon Jury Award at the 2018 Giffoni Film Festival in Italy, SADIE premiered at SXSW in March and features a breakout turn by newcomer Sophia Mitri Schloss in the title role.
