Aaron Sorkin has revealed that he considered making his film, The Trial of the Chicago 7, into a musical! The American legal drama film was written and directed by Sorkin, and stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Sacha Baron Cohen, Daniel Flaherty, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and more.

Sacha talks about winning two Golden Globe Awards for Borat, doing Abbie Hoffman’s accent for The Trial of the Chicago 7, the horrible mix-up when sending his audition tape to Steven Spielberg, wearing different underwear for every character he plays, and he reveals that doing a Borat bit on our show inspired him to make Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.

Joining this year’s virtual version of the Sundance Film Festival, The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) adds Mikel Jollett (Airborne Toxic Event), Pedrito Martinez, Hailey Whitters, Ron and Russell Mael (SPARKS) and The Sparks Brothers director Edgar Wright to the lineup.
