Renowned guitarist Tab Benoit will serve as Honorary Chair of the 40th Annual Natchitoches-NSU Folk Festival, taking place Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27 in Prather Coliseum on the Northwestern State University campus. In addition to serving as Chair, Benoit will be inducted into the Louisiana Folklife Center Hall of Master Folk Artists and Headline the Main Stage on Saturday, June 27.

Milwaukee Repertory Theater presents Everybody by Pulitzer Prize finalist Branden Jacobs-Jenkins performed by the 2018/19 Professional Training Institute (PTI) ensemble July 18 -21, 2019 in the Stiemke Studio. PTI is an advanced actor-training program for students in 9th-12th grade who may have an interest in pursuing a career as a professional theater artist. The 2018/19 PTI ensemble features sixteen students hailing from ten different high schools who received free training from some of the top theater professionals in the world, culminating in this capstone performance of Everybody, where they will be employed as paid, professional actors.

Directed by Cosson and starring Tony Torn as the real-life Paul Swan, the production marks Kiechel's New York debut and runs April 25 - May 19, with an opening night set for May 1. For an audience of only 30, the intimate and immersive performance takes place at Torn Page (435 West 22nd Street, Manhattan), a salon-style performance space located inside a historic Chelsea townhouse originally purchased by Torn's parents, Geraldine Page and Rip Torn.
