Upcoming guest of the popular broadway talk show are Glee star Alex Newell on July 3, Tony winner LaChanze on July 10th, Amy Spanger (The Wedding Singer, Matilda) July 17, J Harrison (Kinky Boots) July 24, and Lilli Cooper and Eddie Cooper on July 31st.

Sharon Playhouse has announced complete casting for its 2017 Season. The season kicks off with MINOR CHARACTER: SIX TRANSLATIONS OF UNCLE VANYA, created by New Saloon (Morgan Green, Madeline Wise, and Milo Cramer), followed by FAR AWAY by Caryl Churchill (Love and Information). The season will conclude with a new, intimate chamber production of Meredith Willson's THE MUSIC MAN. In a shift that begins this season, Morgan Green (William Shakespeare's Mom) will direct all three productions, showcasing the talents and range of the rising director.

Luke Yankee directs a revival of Crimes of the Heart, the Pulitzer Prize and New York Drama Critics Circle Award-winning comic drama by Beth Henley, for a June 9 opening at International City Theatre. Two low-priced previews take place on June 7 and June 8.

Tony, Emmy, and two-time Golden Globe nominee Matthew Morrison will headline Westport Country Playhouse's 2017 fundraising gala on Saturday evening, September 9. New this year will be the Gala's move to Saturday evening instead of Monday night as in past seasons. The Gala's theme, 'Moonlight Over Venice,' is a nod to the Playhouse's autumn production of 'Romeo and Juliet'.

As previously announced, Tony Award-winners Barry Bostwick and Joanna Gleason will reunite and revisit Nick and Nora in a one-night-only concert presented by FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, on May 2nd, 2017. Feinstein's now announces that Allegiance star Marcus Choi (Wicked, Sweet Charity and more) will join the company as Yukido (replacing original star Thom Sesma who continues his run in Pacific Overtures at Classic Stage Company) with Daniel Walstad as Max Bernheim.

Feinstein's now proudly announces that the show's original stars will be joined by special guest Cady Huffman (Tony Award-winner, The Producers, The Nance, Will Rogers' Follies) as Tracy Gardner. Huffman will step into the role originated by Christine Baranski. Also joining the ensemble is Carly Sakolove (Newsical, Mammia Mia! National Tour), who will step into the role of Lorraine Bixby, originated by Faith Prince.
