Five-time Grammy-Award nominated musician and singer/songwriter, GORDON LIGHTFOOT, returns to Minneapolis as part of the BMO Harris Bank Living Legends series at the historic State Theatre (805 Hennepin Ave.) on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m. The evening of classic hits includes "If You Could Read My Mind," "Carefree Highway," "Sundown", as well as deep cuts for lifelong fans.  He'll also share behind the scenes stories from his legendary 50 year career.

Continuing at Cape May Stage is Chapter Two by Neil Simon. This charming romantic comedy opened on June 27th and runs through August 3rd. Set in Manhattan in the 1970s, Chapter Two tells the story of successful writer George Schneider, who is mourning the recent death of his beloved wife when he meets a bright, vivacious actress. George is eager to rush into another marriage following a whirlwind courtship, but the memories of his wife threaten to ruin his second chance for happiness. This witty romance deals with more than love and grief, but what it means to have a fresh start and a new lease on life.

The San Diego Symphony has announced its complete lineup for its Jazz @ The Jacobs and City Lights series for the 2018-19 season. Back for its fourth year, the successful Jazz @ The Jacobs returns with Gilbert Castellanos continuing in his role as series curator. From October through April, the five-concert series features a new and exciting lineup of programs and guest artists. Nat Towsen's Downtown Variety Hour is back and celebrating its 5th Anniversary Show at UCB Theatre East Village on Monday, May 7 at 7:30 PM with the an all-star comedy lineup!
