 The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center will present Broadway legend Patti LuPone on Saturday, July 20 at 8:00pm, and The Fab Faux performing a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Abbey Road on Friday, August 2 at 8:00pm. Tickets go on sale to Mahaiwe members on Thursday, December 20 and to the general public on Friday, December 28. Mahaiwe members enjoy ticket discounts, early ordering privileges, and other perks for a full 12 months. Season 9 of Conan on TBS returns January 22, debuting its new 30-minute format.

Guitar Mash's 7th Annual Urban Campfire at City Winery on Sunday November 18th will feature Ani DiFranco, Biodun Kuti, Fernandito Ferrer, Jimmy Vivino, Kat Edmonson, and Marc Ribot, leading the audience in covers of their curated "Songs for Change," backed by Guitar Mash Artistic Director Mark Stewart (music director for Paul Simon, founding member of the Bang on a Can All-Stars) and his house band.

Guitar Mash has announced its artist line-up for the 7th Annual Urban Campfire at City Winery on Sunday, November 18th from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Urban Campfire is a unique and immersive musical experience where artists break down the wall between the stage and the house, and invite the audience to perform along with them.  The theme for this year's event is “Songs for Change” which focuses on the power of music to generate awareness and bring people together.

With a commitment to the accurate reproduction of The Beatles' repertoire, The Fab Faux (featuring Jimmy Vivino from 'Conan' and legendary bassist, Will Lee) treat the seminal music with unwavering respect, and are known for their painstaking recreations of the songs (with emphasis on the later works never performed live by the Beatles). Far beyond a cover band, they play the music of The Beatles so impeccably that one must experience it to believe it. Imagine hearing complex material like 'Strawberry Fields Forever' or 'I Am the Walrus' performed in complete part-perfect renditions; or such harmony-driven songs as 'Because', 'Nowhere Man', and 'Paperback Writer', reproduced not only note-for-note, but with extra vocalists to achieve a double-tracked effect.

Summer at The Nash is in full swing as the live concert venue and education center kicks off its programs.  Students will be learning new techniques from top instructors each week at The Nash Summer Workshops while bright young emerging artists arrive to showcase their incredible talents for The Nash Emerging Artist Series (Formerly Catch A Rising Star) kicking off June 29 with piano/bass player Ellis Green.

On February 23, Woodstock-based artists The Weight Band will release their first full-length studio album World Gone Mad featuring original tracks, guest vocals and slide guitar from Jackie Greene on a cover of a Jerry Garcia-Robert Hunter song, and writing contributions from the late Levon Helm on previously unreleased songs.

Keyboardist-arranger-composer Pete Levin's ninth solo release, Mo?bius, was recorded live in the studio in two days, capturing the 'no boundaries' spirit of Gil Evans. The music explores textural grooves ranging from straight-ahead bop to funk, world-beat, and the experimental.
