Bearded Theory's Spring Gathering, Derbyshire's award-winning family-friendly festival, is delighted to announce that they will return in 2019 for the 12th successive year.

"Nothing can really prepare you for the riot of exuberance and depth of the emotion of the Soweto Gospel Choir" (The Scotsman). In this special program, South Africa's five-time Grammy Award-winning gospel choir celebrates the Nelson Mandela centenary. Drawing upon the best talent from churches in and around Soweto, the internationally acclaimed choir shares the unique and inspirational power of African Gospel music. "Spirited and spectacular"(New York Times), the concert is entitled Songs of the Free; it includes South African classics as well as freedom songs and gospel music much loved by Mandela, for whom the choir had the privilege of performing on multiple occasions. 

Bearded Theory, a multi award-winning, family friendly festival, taking place at Catton Hall, Derbyshire over the late May Bank Holiday, has today announced plans for an ambitious food donation campaign to take place at this year's event.

The Hairy Bikers Festival Feast - A pop up Wood Fired Restaurant Adventure will be at the heart of this year's Festival, at the stunning Great Tew Estate, offering restaurant-quality festival feasting over the weekend of 13-15 July. As well as enjoying a delicious menu based on recipes from the pair's BBC TV series and best-selling book The Hairy Bikers Mediterranean Adventure, the bikers will be cooking and sharing their stories for guests throughout the three days.

Innervisions is a brand new festival of Soul, Jazz, Blues, Funk, Reggae, Hip Hop, Latin and World music featuring some of the finest global performers in their field. The festival will be held in some of London's premier arts and music venues for 12 hot summer nights from Tuesday 3rd through to Saturday 14th July 2018. Destined to be a regular event on the festival calendar by one of the UK's top specialist promoters, Innervisions is the perfect reason to leave your tent in the loft and stay in the city!
