Harlem Stage has announces details for the Black Arts Movement: Then and Now Conference, curated by Harlem Stage Associate Artistic Director/Artist-in-Residence Carl Hancock Rux and exploring the legacy of the groundbreaking, influential, and controversial movement of the 1960s and ‘70s.

The fully renovated State Theatre New Jersey presents Dave Mason: Endangered Species Tour 2023 on Wednesday, June 7 at 7:30pm. Opening for Dave Mason is Southern rock group, The Georgia Thunderbolts. Tickets range from $29-$79.  

The Lied Center’s 2023-2024 season will feature more than 30 events including top artists and ensembles from around the world in dance, classical music, jazz, musical theater, comedy, family, illusion, and more.

Rock & Roll Hall of Famer DAVE MASON kicks off his summer tour on Wednesday, May 17 in Davenport, IA and continues east with performances set in Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Hartford, New Brunswick and beyond. Sea Gypsies are a three-piece blues fusion band with a repertoire of around sixty numbers which they perform in their own arrangements. The band consists of: Tammy Joe Stewart (guitar, vocals) Jim Williams (bass, vocals) and Dave Samwell (drums, cajon). They don’t just do blues covers but rearrange numbers completely.
