The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) has announced the performer lineup for two of their concert events: Women of Note, and How The Light Gets In; and a new panel discussion with Honest Accomplice Theatre, titled Expanding Representations of Gender Identity and Sexuality on Stage.

The Drama Desk Award-winning TADA! Youth Theater presents EVERYTHING ABOUT A DAY (ALMOST), a musical revue conceived and written by Emmanuel Wilson with performances set for July 8-August 3 at TADA! You're a guest at the riotous wedding of Rebecca Steinberg and Brian Howard in Smithtown Center For The Performing Arts' fantastic musical production 'It Shoulda Been You.' Family squabble, friendly foolery, and shocking surprises are all present in this delightful show that revolves around a young couple on their wedding day. This Long Island premiere has a book and lyrics by Brian Hargrove with music by Barbara Anselmi. Michael Cooper, Will Randall, Carla Rose Fisher, Ernie Lijo, and Jill Abramovitz also contributed to the lyrics.

Immigration, the development of Luna Park, and new adaptations of the films Bread and Roses and Teeth are among the subjects explored in this concert celebrating new works-in-process created or co-created by women writers.

Complete casting has been announced for the Good to Go Songwriters' Showcase.

Two-time Tony Award nominee Mary Testa (Queen of the Mist, On the Town), Arielle Jacobs (Wicked, In the Heights), Krysta Rodriguez (The Addams Family, Smash) and Jason Gotay (Bring It On, Spider-Man; Turn Off the Dark) have joined the cast of the Good to Go Songwriters' Showcase.

We Have Apples will be holding a 29 hour reading with presentations on February 27th at 12pm & 4pm. The reading is directed by Lorin Latarro and produced by Tony LaPlaca.

As previously announced, the critically acclaimed Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof will end its run on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 2:00PM. This revival will have played a total of 463 performances when it gives its final bow. Just confirmed, a National Tour is planned beginning in the fall of 2018.

The York Theatre Company welcomes a special holiday celebration with the December installment of the game show for musical theater lovers, Tune in Time, presented by Amy Engelhardt and Heather Shields, hosted by Emily McNamara, with Musical Director Nate Buccieri and annoyingly insistent timekeeper Sheila Head, with celebrity judges Nick Corley (A Christmas Carol, The Musical), Brandon Ellis (It's a Wonderful Life Radio Play) and Kirsten Wyatt (Elf, A Christmas Story), all of whom are veterans of one Christmas musical or another.
