Broadway in Birmingham Tuesday night conjured a dark and dazzling production of Beetlejuice at the BJCC Concert Hall. Based on Tim Burton’s beloved film, the musical embraces the bizarre with open arms, bringing a night of dark humor, visual ingenuity, and a few surprisingly heartfelt moments.
OMG what a fun time I had experiencing BEETLEJUICE at Century II last night! The audience was having a blast, whooping and hollering, and gave the cast a standing ovation at the end of it all!
2025 has kicked off on a high note for Vancouver's theatre scene. Among the many shows debuting this month is one that perfectly captures the essence of chaos, featuring a quirky plot, catchy songs, and eccentric characters. BEETLEJUICE The Musical made its debut in Vancouver, BC on January 21 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Running until January 26, the show based off of the 1988 Beetlejuice film by Tim Burton, brings audiences into a new era of musical theatre.

Walton Arts Center, 495 W Dickson St, in Fayetteville, brought the excitement again, this time with BEETLEJUICE THE MUSICAL, which ran from October 22-27. I would say his name three times just to see the show again! Directed by Alex Timbers, the thrilling blend of dark humor, incredible music and spooky charm had us smiling through the whole production! We loved it!

The National Tour of Beetlejuice has found its new Lydia! Madison Mosley, who currently plays the Girl Scout and understudies the role of Lydie on tour, will officially take over the role beginning performances on October 22 in Fayetteville, AR.
Adapted from the 1988 Tim Burton cult classic, BEETLEJUICE - THE MUSICAL is an over-the-top, chaotic, and wildly unhinged reimagining that amps up the kooky-ness of its source material a thousand-fold. Mostly funny and entertaining despite its tonal shifts and forced outlandishness, the show elicits lots of laughs thanks to its title character.
Dear Readers, warning, I’m about to be a bit of a snob here. I know, big surprise. But I’m not the biggest fan of the musical, “Beetlejuice”, currently playing at the Paramount Theatre. I wasn’t a fan when I first heard the cast recording and now having seen it, I can’t say my opinion has changed all that much. A bit, but not much.

Capturing the spirit of the original film while carving out its unique identity as a musical, the show's mischievous and cheeky nature keeps the audience engaged from start to finish, and you'll leave the theater with a smile on your face and images like an unwanted Beetlejuice lap dance and the earworm 'Day O!” stuck in your head.
Beetlejuice the Musical, is a live stage musical, based on the 1988 film of the same name in which Michael Keaton plays the iconic ghoul. The musical features music and lyrics by Eddie Perfect, with a book by Scott Brown and Anthony King.
Using the Tim Burton film as a foundation, Beetlejuice is a rollicking good time. Filled with stellar performances, amazing songs (particularly in Act 2), dazzling sets, and a score that raises the dead, it is equal parts black comedy musical theater and offbeat grief therapy.
