San Diego Musical Theatre is thrilled to present its third and final production of its 2010-2011 season, the singular sensation, the nine-time Tony Award-winning musical, A CHORUS LINE with music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban, book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, musical direction by Don LeMaster and directed and choreographed by Robert Marra (recreating Michael Bennett's original choreography).

Stars from the stage, and the big and small screen were in attendance at the White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA) dinner at the Washington Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C. on April 30, 2011 and we were there to capture the star studded arrivals!

New York Stage and Film (Johanna Pfaelzer, Artistic Director; Mark Linn-Baker, Max Mayer, Leslie Urdang, Producing Directors) and Vassar College (Ed Cheetham, Producing Director) have announced the full line-up of their 2011 Powerhouse Theater season, now entering its 27th year. The result of a unique collaboration between New York Stage and Film and Vassar College, the program consists of an eight-week residency on the Vassar campus (124 Raymond Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY) during which more than 200 professional artists and some 40 apprentices live and work together to create new theater works. The 2011 Main Stage season kicks off with Patricia Wettig's F2M (June 29 - July 10).

Acclaimed British playwright, screenwriter, translator and director Christopher Hampton will be in Los Angeles next week to celebrate simultaneous openings. Hampton's translation of Chekhov's The Three Sisters, starring Jon Hamm, Jennifer Westfeldt, Tessa Thompson, Sarah Zimmerman and Reid Scott in a radio theater production for L.A. Theatre Works, and the West Coast premiere of his translation of Yasmina Reza's Tony Award-winning God of Carnage, starring Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini and Marcia Gay Harden at the Ahmanson Theatre, both open on Wednesday, April 13.

Today we are talking to the multi-talented actress/writer/producer of the hit indie romantic comedies KISSING JESSICA STEIN and IRA & ABBY, who is now adding director to her list of abilities with her new feature film FRIENDS WITH KIDS, co-starring her real-life husband Jon Hamm - the delightfully sweet and talented Jennifer Westfeldt. Both Jennifer and Jon can be seen - and heard - later this week in an exciting radio adaptation of the Anton Chekhov classic THE THREE SISTERS, in a new translation by Christopher Hampton, also co-starring Tessa Thompson, Sarah Zimmerman and Reid Scott, which will also be recorded and broadcast online. 'Burn This' by Pulitzer Prize-winner Lanford Wilson opened last night, April 3, 2011, at the Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum. Directed by Nicholas Martin, performances of 'Burn This' continue through May 1. This production is dedicated to Lanford Wilson.

Yesterday, December 12, New York Stage and Film presented their Annual Winter Gala. Top theatrical talent paid tribute to honorees Laura Linney (Academy Award-nominated and Emmy Award-winning actress) and Jordan Roth (President of Jujamcyn Theaters) at The Plaza Hotel including Steven Pasquale, Rebecca Naomi Jones and John Gallagher, Jr., and cast members from Spring Awakening, Hair and American Idiot.
