Casamigos joined Benjamin Millepied and his foundation LA Dance Project last night for its annual gala. Joined by wife Natalie Portman, Millepied hosted guests including Jane Fonda, Mindy Kaling, Jodie Foster, Andie MacDowell and Paula Abdul.

Dirty Dancing debuted on stage back in 2006. After numerous tours it is now back at Richmond Theatre, which has opened its doors for the first time in 559 days. The show is a faithful interpretation of the much-loved film following the story of 'Baby’ Houseman as she spends a summer discovering love, sex and relationships at a 1960s holiday camp.

New York’s famed Neighborhood Playhouse will host a virtual Open House on Thursday, July 8 at 5:30 p.m. EST for interested applicants. Attendees can join Playhouse faculty and alumni for an evening of informational, hands-on activities where they’ll discuss their two year Certificate Acting Program as well as their six week Summer Acting Intensive.

Jennifer Grey is set to star in and executive produce a new dance movie at Lionsgate. According to Deadline, the film, which is set in the 1990s, could potentially be a new Dirty Dancing movie. Sources haven't confirmed or denied the possibility.

BendFilm announced today a lineup full of creative ways to see films outside in the comfort of a car or in the open air of Tin Pan Alley. Deadline reports that I Am Patrick Swayze, Paramount's latest in its I Am documentary series, averaged 1.1 million total viewers -- its biggest ratings ever for a special like this.

 Paramount Network has joined forces with Network Entertainment to celebrate the life of legendary Hollywood figure Patrick Swayze for the  latest installment of the I Am documentary franchise. I Am Patrick Swayze will world premiere in the actor's home state at the San Antonio Film Festival on Friday, August 2, and will debut on Swayze's birthday, Sunday, August 18 at 9:00 p.m. ETPT on Paramount Network.  Patrick Swayze classics Ghost and Dirty Dancing will air leading into the documentary at 3:30 p.m. ETPT and 6:30 p.m. ETPT.
