Goodspeed Musicals, the only two time Tony Award winning theatre in the country, is proud to announce the cast of its upcoming world premiere production of Jim Henson's classic holiday favorite Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas, adapted for the stage. Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas will run December 7, 2008, through January 4, 2009, at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Connecticut.

Guests on May 29 at 'Don't Quit Your Night Job' will include David Hyde Pierce -- last year's Tony winner for Best Actor in a Musical -- as well as comedy diva Lea DeLaria and the titular star of next season's SHREK, Tony nominee Brian d'Arcy James. The show will also welcome Matt Cavenaugh, star of A Catered Affair, along with Grease's Danny and Sandy, reality TV stars Max Crumm and Laura Osnes.

The Awesome 80s Prom, the celebrated off-Broadway smash hit, now in its fourth year, has recouped its investment, becoming a rare Off-Broadway success story, has launched productions across the US. While New York audiences continue to party like it's 1989 at the famed nightclub, Webster Hall, it has also enjoyed runs in Minneapolis, Baltimore, and Chicago. And, The Awesome 80s Prom is now available for licensing; it has already been performed at many community theaters and high schools across the country.

Producer Steven Ullman has announced that any ticket holder who shows up to a performance of Bernice Bobs Her Mullet, the new musical which will debut at this year's New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF), wearing a mullet (real or fake!), will be inducted into the 'Bernice's Mullet Hall of Fame' at the Julia Miles Theatre.
