The 85th Annual Drama League Awards were handed out last night, May 17, at the Marriott Marquis Times Square (1535 Broadway).

This week on Bagels and Broadway, New York media personality, Valerie Smaldone, welcomes award-winning writer of Tootsie, Robert Horn, Tony winner, Cady Huffman, and writer-director Will Nunziata to her weekly interview and commentary show, airing every Saturday at 9am on AM970.

Jeff Daniels was a guest on Monday's episode of 'CBS This Morning' to talk about his Tony-nominated role in 'To Kill a Mockingbird' on Broadway.

To Kill A Mockingbird, Aaron Sorkin's new play, directed by Bartlett Sher, and based on Harper Lee's classic novel, will launch its coast-to-coast National Tour in August 2020 at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in the heart of the nation's capital. The tour will be on the road for over two years. According to the Hollywood Reporter, stage and screen star Richard Thomas will lead the production as Atticus Finch.
