This past weekend, Two River Theater kicked off their summer season with the brand-new Plaza Players Series featuring Tony-Nominated writer and composer Joe Iconis (Be More Chill, Love in Hate Nation), Lauren Marcus (Be More Chill, Love in Hate Nation) and band members Seth Eliser (ONCE), Eric William Morris (Be More Chill, The Ballad of Little Jo, Songbird), and Nygel D. Robinson (Beau: The Musical).

I was not in the audience of the St. James. I was somewhere better: Redbank, New Jersey to be exact. I was there for the second show in a series of concerts featuring Joe Iconis and Lauren Marcus. Tony- Nominated Composer Joe Iconis To Perform At Adelphi University

Broadway composer Joe Iconis, whose works include 'Be More Chill,' will bring an electric mixture of songs from musicals and stand-alone songs to Adelphi University's Performing Arts Center (PAC) on Sunday, April 11. The virtual concert is part of the University's Live from Adelphi Concert Series.

Filming via Zoom has begun for New Works Virtual Festival. From Sunday October 25th to Saturday the 31st, the NWVF will stream video readings of 20 new scripts of non-musical pieces (19 plays, 1 teleplay) featuring the work of a diverse group of writers and all-star cast members. 4 new play scripts have been announced by the team.

Jason SweetTooth Williams (Be More Chill) is fittingly turned into a cookie for this virtual performance video of an original new song by Eric Fegan (Music) and Jamie Maletz (Lyrics). With backup cookies played by Badia Farha (School of Rock), Cori Jaskier, Kennedy Kanagawa, MinJi Kim, Luana Psaros, and Dani Weiner and a cameo by Broadway lyricist Mindi Dickstein (who inspired the song), the piece is about quarantine snacking. Orchestrations are by Elspeth Collard.
