Due to high ticket demand, Second Stage Theater has announced a one-week extension of the world premiere musical SUPERHERO. The production will now play through Sunday, March 31, 2019.

Legendary singer and actress Cher is known for her quick wit, chart-topping hits, and award-winning performances. Cher's life story is now being told on Broadway in 'The Cher Show.' The lead is played by three actresses, Stephanie J. Block, Teal Wicks, and Micaela Diamond. CBS This Morning's Gayle King met with the ladies of the show and Cher herself, who opened up about the joys and challenges of bringing her story to stage.

Ryan Reynolds is set to star in and produce the action-comedy Shotgun Wedding for Lionsgate, Mandeville Films and Reynolds' Maximum Effort, according to Deadline. Jason Moore on board to direct the feature, which is set to shoot in the summer.

Producers Flody Suarez and Jeffrey Seller announced today that a new block of tickets for the Broadway production of the new musical The Cher Show goes on sale today at 10am ET. Tickets for The Cher Show are available at www.TheCherShowBroadway.com or www.Ticketmaster.com (877-250-2929). Ticket prices range from $59 - $169. Premium tickets range from $199 - $299. Tickets are currently on sale through Sunday, October 13, 2019.

AVENUE Q - winner of three 2004 Tony Awards including Best Musical - will celebrate its 15+ year run on the BroadwayCon MainStage this weekend, Saturday, January 12, when Original Broadway Cast and Creative Team members will reunite for a special Q&A Panel. Robert Lopez, Carmen Ruby Floyd, Howie Michael Smith, Erin Quill, Stephanie D'Abruzzo, and Ann Harada are confirmed to attend. AVENUE Q – winner of three 2004 Tony Awards including Best Musical – will conclude its celebrated 15+ year run in New York on April 28, 2019, it has been announced by the show's producers. Produced by Kevin McCollum, Robyn Goodman, Jeffrey Seller, Vineyard Theatre and The New Group, AVENUE Q will have played a total of 6537 performances upon closing: from its first Broadway preview on July 14, 2003 to its final performance at New World Stages (340 W. 50 St.) on April 28 next year.
